Feds try to use shutdown to delay Dr. Corsi $350M hearing
Trish Regan of Trish Regan Primetime reported (Dec. 27) that Mueller's office had attempted to delay the court hearing on the $350 million lawsuit brought against their office by Dr. Jerome Corsi.
Dr. Corsi bought the lawsuit against the special counsel asserting that its office illegally searched his phone records and tried to coerce him into lying in exchange for a lenient sentence. Corsi is thus demanding an investigation into Robert Mueller's "overly aggressive tactics."
Mueller's office cited the government shutdown as their excuse for requesting the delay. In an email to Dr. Corsi's attorney Larry Clayman, the Justice Department wrote:
"At the end of the day on Dec. 21, 2018, the appropriations act that had been funding the Department of Justice expired . . . attorneys are generally prohibited from working, even on a voluntary basis . . .
We are therefore filing a motion to stay the hearing date until Congress restores appropriation."
But a judge has subsequently rejected Mueller's request to delay the hearing. Dr. Corsi tweeted (Dec. 27): "U.S. District Judge Leon just ORDERED that the hearing on my $350 million lawsuit "CORSI v. MUELLER et al" WILL BE HEARD on JAN 3, 2019. Judge Leon REJECTED Mueller & DOJ request to postpone because of partial government showdown.U.S. District Judge Leon just ORDERED that the hearing on my $350 million lawsuit "CORSI v. MUELLER et al" WILL BE HEARD on JAN 3, 2019. Judge Leon REJECTED Mueller & DOJ request to postpone because of partial government showdown."
In an interview with Regan, Dr. Corsi said: "The shutdown doesn't affect Mueller . . . They don't want to go to court on this $350 million lawsuit. They are going to lose."
Dr. Corsi is famous for ending his live streams with these words: "In the end, God always wins."
