HHS Will Remove LGBTQ Foster Kids From Homes That Don’t Affirm Their Delusions #Political

Despite the attempt, the HHS and the Biden Administration are NOT putting children's “well-being first.”

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) released new guidelines for the nation’s foster care system, the Administration for Children and Families (ACF). While two new rules do appear to be pro-child, one rule is not. The HHS plans to transfer “LGBTQ” foster kids to families that will “affirm” their confusion/delusion.

The guidelines were announced on Wednesday and were an attempt to “help child welfare agencies fulfill their mission of putting children first,” the release noted. It also noted that the three new rules “represent one of the most substantial advances in child welfare in a generation.”

Well, what are those advances you may ask? Buckle up.

The first is that the HHS will work with states to help children who enter the system to be placed with relatives. Often times, kids are placed in homes with strangers who would fill the role as their interim (foster) parents. In many cases, those kids have biological relatives: grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. who are fully capable and willing to care for them. But in past years, due to the strict guidelines on licensing, those kinship caregivers were not ready in time. The new policies will simplify licensing for relatives to expedite the process and place kids in kinship caregiver homes. This one is a good move, in my opinion.

We’re going to skip rule number two for a second so you don't drop your jaw prematurely.

The third rule is to expand access to legal representation for children and families who are part of the system. Federal funds will be allocated to helping provide attorneys for families who need them to secure and support a child’s needs. Yeah, that seems helpful.

Now, going back to number two, the release indicated that HHS will do all it could to “Protect LGBTQI+ youth in foster care.” Yup. The HHS wants to help kids who are probably already suffering from mental health issues from having to be pulled from their family home, continue on a negative mental health path. Really seems like they aim to put “children’s well-being first …” NOT!

Here’s part of what the HHS said in its statement:

The proposed rule would protect LGBTQI+ youth by placing them in environments free of hostility, mistreatment, or abuse based on the child’s LGBTQI+ status. And the proposed rule would require that caregivers for LGBTQI+ children are properly and fully trained to provide for the needs of the child related to the child’s self-identified sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression

Essentially, if a foster family doesn’t think it's best for their foster child to get his penis turned into a vagina, the child will be removed from the home and placed in one who will help affirm their delusion.

From my personal experience, some states have already started implementing questions into screenings regarding the whole gender identity situation. About a year ago, I started the licensing process for my local foster care branch so I could become a foster parent. A woman, during one of the many phone calls I received, asked me if I’d feel comfortable helping a teen transition. I said no and after that call, haven’t ever gotten another one.

This reminds me of another situation over in Massachusetts. A loving family, the Burkes, wanted to become foster parents. They’d done the training and were well into the licensing process when, all of a sudden, a letter was sent to them from the Massachusetts Department of Children & Families indicating that they were banned from becoming foster parents over their Catholic convictions. The Burkes, if they were to be foster parents, would need to “to promote the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of a child placed in his or her care, including supporting and respecting a child's sexual orientation or gender identity.” But because the Burkes are Catholic, and those delusions don’t align with their views, they were denied.

This new rule outlined by the HHS is going to facilitate situations like the Burkes to happen over and over. The HHS plans to make it so that even if a family is loving, welcoming, and would treat children with the compassion they give their own biological children, they’d not be good candidates to help needy orphans.

“This is a historic package that underlines the Biden-Harris Administration’s steadfast commitment to putting children’s well-being first,” said HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra.

Affirming a lie of this sort should be considered child abuse. To remove children from their abusive homes and then put them in homes that would do the same is pointless. This is just another way to put children last and the leftist agenda first.
